  4.  @madmantheory5216  We won't. At least not completely. You see you cannot simply turn off a gas field and expect it later to turn on. Some people in Europe will not get cold because there is no gas but because it has become to expensive for them. In a crisis the industry that uses the most gas will be shut down. Normal consumers will be cut off last. So nobody will get cold. There are reserves. That Germany and Italy are to a high degree dependent on Russian gas will not mean that other countries are to that same degree. The Netherlands used only 15% Russian gas and receives non because it doesn't like to pay in Rubles. Since the latest invasion of Russia the Netherlands saved 25-30% gas. So in a sense we don't need it.

  6.  @madmantheory5216  Russia is already in a recession. Don't forget that the economy of the EU is 40 times that of Russia. Gas delivery is ready at 20%. It's not that Europe only uses Russian gas and there are gas reserves. So it's wishful thinking. And even if. It will not influence the support to Ukraine. Russian energy is on it's way out in Europe.
