Poppy cultivation in manipur starts from Afghanistan to manipur to middle east to Europe its big business enjoyed by many nations. They create unrest in our nation. Initially while cleaning up the mess there will be huge damage. I'm sorry about that damage. The problem is our law ( that states : India is not a police state). Once if this phrase is removed the govt can clean up the rogue elements like they removed art 370 overnight. The thing is many fringe groups are making use of our democratic system against the interst of our own nation. This police state phrase must be removed then manipur will become again free from all non state actors overnight. Not just manipur but whole India.

@theawesomeman9821 Kashmir is strategic point. If you get down from there they will have strategic advantage militarily over india. Next thing is access route to central Asia middle east you wont require Iran or pak to access into Afghanistan if you occupy pok also. Thus trade route is vital. Look at what China is doing occupies all trade route. Without power play you wont get your strategic line of interest. Without strategic lines of interest under your control you will never become economically strong. Without economically stronger you are militarily weaker. With a weaker military you will not have a definite boundary ( everything is interconnected)
