Comments by "The Sim Architect" (@TheSimArchitect) on "Why Is It So Hard To Find A Job" video.
The problem is we need to learn our place in society. If we're from poor families without connections we're supposed to work at McDonald's and Walmart instead of taking a loan and going to college.

@magiala5577 I am not saying it's impossible but most of us are doomed. Myself included. Getting a degree was a stupid choice I made because I am a stupid person that believed in the traditional value a diploma had (you'd work hard to get it, but once you had it you'd work less and make a lot of money). Sorry. They hit that door on our face. We better learn it sooner than later. I wish I were wrong.

@infini.tesimo You can't have prosperity for everybody, sorry. We're not chosen ones. We are not born with blue blood and only very few of us cross that bridge. You can huff, you can puff, you can't summon wealth if you're born poor unless you have a special talent and a lot of luck. I am from Brazil. I know how worse poverty is there now than it was 40 years ago.

@jbullock7157 Yes. WE are. Those jobs pay enough to live if you don't have children and you have a frugal lifestyle. Everybody has a diploma these days, it's an overprice commodity. It was only valuable when it was scarce. The wealthy learned it was much better to make access to education widespread, so we become cheaper. Sorry if you disagree, but that's what I am able to see.

@infini.tesimo Gen X. I saw the transition. It was more affordable to get a degree and a degree was worth something because not everybody that wanted one could get one because you needed more than money to be accepted.

@MissyMuthaTruckiN You can always move downwards.

@Ultralined Even if you're willing, you can rarely make it. If doing that were enough, there wouldn't be poor people that stay poor against their will. I also come from a third world country.

@random_nick_for_comments Welcome or goodbye? I feel we left capitalism back in the 80's and we're moving towards a socialist regimen that keeps most of us stuck at the bottom of the pyramid feeding the 1%ers. USSR 2.0 ?

@drblitz3092 and it doesn't require a college degree.
