@chichixixi99 But they already knew that the issue was MCAS. So Boeing lied.

@fsnissen But Boeing said no further training is necessary and the MAX handles like the older versions. They misguided their customers in full knowledge of the flaws of their product. Boeing is responsible, not the airlines.

@josephman1488 Boeing is not the only airplane manufacturer in the world, it is not even the largest. With Airbus, the world would keep flying.

Other than fruit/Vegetables, quality is similar. I would even say that Aldi cheese selection beats Rewe.

True, unlike modern airplanes, the MAX is not even fly by wire, but still has cables.

@josephman1488 out of interest: why would Airbus not survive without competition?
4
@josephman1488 I agree that there will be little need for innovation if Airbus would become a monopolist. But it does not require competition to exist and make money.
2
@TheRedc0met China can build quality if they want to. Furthermore, a lot of essential parts of the C919 are from western suppliers, same quality like Airbus or Boeing for those parts.
2
@Paul2.4T cables were an issue, as the pilot had not enough body strength to pull the levers without hydraulic support (which had to be turned of to deactivate MCAS).
1
Poland said they give 14 Leopard2 to Ukraine.
1
@josephman1488 that is not a reason. Companies without competition existed through time. Why would Airbus fail without competition? Why would it disappear?
