  2. Not anymore. Germany, Russias best customer, is now scared that gas gets cut of. They therefor try to find alternatives as quickly as possible, and do everything to never fall into a similar trap. The bridge is burned. The myth of Russia being a reliable supplier has been destroyed.

  4. NATO has a much more capable air force, so it would have established air superiority in the first days. It would also have not send troops in without said air superiority (Russia lost a good part of its special forces VDV by doing that). NATO is also capable using combined arms warfare, its strategy is to NOT send tanks unaccompanied by infantry into their certain death, and they do not use conscripts.
