  2.  @notahotshot  taking a dump isn't generally crucial to the plot - except when it is, they do show it (ref 'Lethal Weapon'). Shooting, on the other hand, is often central - and yeah, it's off-putting when they get it wrong, especially since they can and do get it right (ref 'Lethal Weapon,' 'John Wick,' 'Dirty Harry,' etc.). In fact, done right, reloading improves the story by adding tension, drama, and opportunities for plot development. It's lazy storytelling, and a failure of craft.
