@jaynikk758 in 2023 Russia gained more land than Ukraine, despite grand Ukrainian offensive. But most importantly they gained drone superiority, which was the only Ukrainian advantage. They also increased production of shells, armoured vehicles, rockets and everything else to kill Ukrainian troops more effectively every month Do you think there's a reason why Zaluzhny is crying for half a million troops? Despite Ukraine kidnapping men off streets to throw into military, they still can't replace their losses. Also, why should have Russia started some big offensive in 2023? Unlike Ukraine, Russia has it's own military industry and amount of their supplies doesn't depend on gained ground

300k according to who? Obvious and blatant war propaganda about enemy casualties? How stupid anyone can be to believe it?

What real army? Ukraine and Russia are the only countries with experience against modern opponent. Being amazing at fighting goat farmers doesn't make your army good

Wasn't it Ukraine that bombed civilians for almost a decade for wanting independence from Ukraine?

Ukrainian soldiers received training by NATO instructors since 2015. There are also plenty of NATO instructors in Ukraine right now, but Ukrainians in Ukraine only receive few weeks of training. Compare it to Russians who received 1 year of training when they were 18yo and months of extra training before being sent to the front How do you know that Russia is losing more soldiers than Ukraine? Especially since Russia has huge advantage in artillery, tanks, aviation and bombs During mobilization regions with more population sent far more soldiers than lesser populated regions because it's all about percentage of population. So among mobilized troops - there are far more people from Moscow than from other regions. But obviously more people from poorer regions volunteered for money, same goes for every country on earth. You can look up statistics on US army and where they come from, southern republican regions join army far more than other states. Do you also think that American politicians are using republicans as meat?

According to BBC sponsored Mediazona, which uses ACTUAL data from cementeries and social media unlike random estimations, Russia lost 39k in entire war. Other estimations are nothing but standard war propaganda. It's the most obvious way of lying during war - exaggerating enemy casualties. How can Russia possibly lose more soldiers than Ukraine, considering that Russia has equal or superior analogues of Ukrainian equipment, but in far larger quantities. And according to some western media - Russia now has 7 times more drones than Ukraine, which was the only Ukrainian advantage
2
Well, considering that Biden himself admitted that USA almost run out of artillery shells, while Russia still has artillery superiority and even gained drone superiority against entire NATO - yeah, Russia is dominant super power Btw, do you think Ukraine throwing everything they had in summer offensive and achieving nothing also proves that they can't regain their land and that those regions will bw past of Russia forever? Especially considering that NATO admitted to running out of equipment to send to Ukraine and admitting that they won't be able to support Ukraine on the level of 2022 and 2023

Ukraine haven't destroyed a single ship that launches rockets at Ukraine. How exactly Ukraine destroying some random landing ship during it's repairs helped them in any way shape or form? Obviously losing any equipment sucks, but if Russia actually tried some landing with that ship and Ukraine destroyed it - Russia would lose many soldiers and equipment. Don't you think it would be better for Ukraine to destroy it when Russia actually used it? So it's just another PR stunt with no purpose Russia does lose a lot of equipment because they can afford using a lot of equipment, unlike Ukraine. Do you realize that 3 guys in a tank will kill a lot more enemies and are a lot more likely to survive than 3 guys with AK in open field? And now we can talk about loss ratio. If one side has 10 times more artillery, 10 times more tanks and 100 times more planes - who do you think is losing more troops? According to BBC sponsored Mediazona Russia lost 39k in entire war, which is a lot. But for comparison in 2011 Russia lost 28k people in car crushes. That's why they can replace their losses and grow their military by only volunteers. Compare it to Ukraine which parliament wants to mobilize women and crippled, while kidnapping military age men to throw in the army and begging European countries to return Ukrainian men who managed to escape. How can Ukraine possibly lose less soldiers than Russia, considering that Russia has equal or superior analogues of Ukrainian equipment but in far larger quantities? According to western media - now Russia has 7 times more drones than Ukraine and it was the only advantage Ukraine had over Russia Just because you want something to be true - doesn't make it true

@9trous_0xide90 so Ukraine will never have elections again, got it

@kkivela "On April 14, 2015, then-Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced that Canada would deploy around 200 armed forces personnel to Ukraine to develop and deliver military training and military capacity-building programs for Ukrainian forces" - quote from Washington post. Are you banned in Google or something? I'll repeat myself. All Russian men went through at least 1 year of training when they were 18yo, Russia has standard yearly conscription and military training. When those already trained men got mobilized - they were trained for extra months before being sent to Ukraine. And after they got sent to Ukraine - Russians were defending and doing nothing for a year before starting small offensive operations here and there. The only people who haven't received months of extra training (on top of that 1 year when they were 18) were either truck drivers or people who served in Russian contract army for years already. Simple enough for you? Again, why do you think that Russia loses more soldiers than Ukraine? Every single piece of equipment Ukraine received has equal or superior Russian analogues in larger quantities. For himars Russia has tornado s with the same accuracy and range, for example. "Russian tanks are from the last millennium" - just like western tanks? Abrams is from 80s, leopard 2 is from 70s and challenger is from 90s. What's your point again?
1
@kkivela you said that NATO haven't trained Ukrainian soldiers, but Canada did trained them and Canada is one of the founding members of NATO. So why are you arguing about it? Are you saying that Canadians are bad instructors or something? And what it has to do with rebels? Russian students have an army delay while they're studying. And if you went to one of the best universities and you were one of the best students - you will only serve for a few months instead of a year What Ukrainian piece of equipment doesn't have equal or superior Russian analogue? Well, maybe except for bayraktars, but they were all wiped out within a few months anyway. Russia has it's own chip production inside Russia, those chips are just worse than western ones To be honest, idea of stealing a toilet and taking shit in comfort in your trench doesn't sound that crazy to me
1
What Ukrainian piece of equipment doesn't have equal or superior Russian analogue in larger quantities? How is Russian doctrine bad, considering that Russia encircled Mariupol Lysychansk Severodonetsk Bahmut and Avdiivka, while Ukraine haven't managed to encircle Russia even once? Ukraine received tons of supplies from entire NATO. Biden himself admitted that US doesn't have anymore artillery ammo to send to Ukraine from existing stockpiles because they're so low. And majority of NATO countries admitted that they can't send anymore heavy equipment without taking it from active units And wdym " they can't stop Ukrainians" - they did stop them with ez in the summer. It's not like Russia is focused on gaining ground either, the entire war they focused on encircling cities and bombing Ukrainian troops into oblivion
1
How exactly can Russia lose more soldiers than Ukraine, considering that Russia has 10 times more artillery shells, 7 times more drones, 100 times more planes and many times more tanks? Especially considering that gains are minimal and Russians bomb Ukrainian positions for weeks before even attempting attacks

А какие каналы нейтральные?

@ElementalWarrior1999 wrong. Most Ukrainian tanks were damaged by mines far away from the frontline, so obviously their crews survived, same goes for Russian tanks. But leopards and challengers were also blown up by cheap drones and their turrets also reached the orbit. Difference is that Russian tanks can actually reach the frontline
1
@ElementalWarrior1999 If armour of your tank gets penetrated - everyone inside is dead, doesn't matter if your turret pops or not. And Russians posted plenty of videos of destruction western tanks, noone except for Abrams has that shield between the crew and ammo
