They lacked patience. It’s obvious Owensby was not complying. He gets into & out of that car daily; he certainly could have asked for assistance. This smacks of set-up. Of course, police fell right into it.

@akeem2752 yeah but I do know. Police had REASONABLE SUSPICION & JUST CAUSE to require he get out of the car. You must comply. Read up. Pulling him out by his hair is idiotic & they should have waited for a super. Again, shoddy police training, no accountability, lax oversight.

End qualified immunity Take successful lawsuit payouts directly from police pension funds Nationwide training standards paid for from the Pentagon budget under National Security. National data base preventing bad cops from being hired again-ever

@akeem2752 I know these kinds of cases have landed before the Supreme Court, and authorities have gained ground against CIVIL RIGHTS. I can point you to YouTube sites I have watched to educate myself in the event of a police encounter. Go see FLEX YOUR RIGHTS. Leaving a “known drug house” can & was used as probable cause to search his car. It’s not me, it’s the laws I’m telling you about. As such, he MUST COMPLY by exiting the car. He didn’t. He also rejected several offers to assist him. His mistake. Police’s mistake: not getting a super & pulling him out by his hair. Dumb sh!t.

@akeem2752 just a tad bit SUSPICIOUS? Ya think? After coming from a known drug house? Eye roll🙄…. Was the kid in the car supposed to deflect suspicion? Eye roll🙄……

Definitely the optics were bad for police. Obviously Owensby had a wheelchair cops could have retrieved & placed him in it. He was not cooperating.

@Audit-xq4vu well there ya go then! There’s a lot of info none of know, do we? I guess we’re ALL making assumptions. Perhaps, by using a petty traffic infraction police are looking for solid evidence to obtain a warrant on the house. To me, finding over $22K in cash might be a great start, No? As far as getting “lump sums”, it’s NEVER in cash.

@tommier5210 I find that impossible to believe. He gets in n out of his car every day. Not having a wheelchair is simply not believable. Unless he’s not really disabled?

When I call a cop, I need one to show TF up. When I get burgled, I want a cop at my door. If I’m assaulted, I need the cops to take a statement & scrape the perpetrator off the pavement. When someone runs a red light, I need the cops there to haul his ass to jail. Yes, we need cops, so do you.
