  3. A man in a position of authority, who's biases affect the fairness in his treatment of students, directly affecting their future careers. He is free to say what he wants, but he should not be entrusted with the education and assessment of students anymore. I have to wonder how his female peers react to this chauvinist in their midst.

  7. I have a special appreciation for women who demonstrate considerable strength and endurance to work demanding jobs while simultaneously looking after young children. To say it is not easy is an understatement. I certainly have no confidence in myself pulling off such a feat. One such is my late mother, who I owe almost everything to.
