They do not protect sedition and inciting others to commit crimes, threats, libel and slander, false advertising, speech intended to cause a breach of the peace (fighting words) or which puts others in danger (ex: shouting fire in a theater to cause a panic), child pornography and other obscene content, or other forms of speech and content that directly harm another.
Egging on suicide and self-harm can be charged as if the speaker committed the harm themselves.
Also, I don't think it protects copyright infringement because that is theft of property.
I know that this really pisses people off, but you also don't have first amendment rights on the internet. No matter how much people whine, Youtube's a private business and can remove whatever content they want from their servers as long as they're not being ordered to by the government (unless it violates the restrictions above).
