  1.  @MuzixMaker  You can get a residency permit in Switzerland by agreeing to pay tax, not on income or wealth, but on the amount that you spend annually. The minimum annual tax is 250,000.

  2. I like living in Switzerland, but the weather is cold/foggy/wet/ dark for a lot of the year.

  3.  @MuzixMaker  I don't do the lump sum taxation, just normal taxation as an employee. Even with a high income, I'm just in the 20% tax bracket, and take all deductions possible, so the tax burden is actually quite low and that's how people can afford to live in Switzerland. A normal Pizza around where I live is around $15. (and CHF 15 is the max daily amount that a worker can deduct per day for lunches away from home! 👍👷‍♀️)
