SC has no right to implement any administrative action, they can give orders to start a certain process but should have no right to implement it. That should be done by the various governments... If someone is unhappy with the government process then they can appeal against it in court and the court can then decide if the process is fair or not. 🙄🙄 SC should learn to be in it's limit, we need judicial reforms ASAP. 😑 Also collegium system must go away and we should select SC judges like they do in the US.

@anshuecon whn was the last time any single party had majority in Rajyasabha? Also, the candidates should be chosen by a committee not a single person, so that's an added measure. In any case how is collegium a any better, it's completely against all democratic principles. That's exactly how our sc has been highjacked by a few families, and majority of the judges come from those families only, and the rest of the family members are given special status as lawyers in the sc, they have total undue influence. How is this any fair?

@anshuecon rubbish, Trump doesn't judges he just selects them then they need to be confirmed by the senate... We can have something similar where a bipartisan commitee can choose candidates and Rajyasabha can confirm them. No country has such a stupid system, it's completely non democratic and make a deep state within the court which is completely unaccountable and undemocratic.

@anshuecon read the article, even though guardian is anti Trump but even they can't lie about the judges confirmation process. Senate has to confirm each judge, otherwise Trump can't appoint even a single one of the judges. 🙄🙄

@anshuecon that's where you're wrong... The only thing they can do is delay the appointment nothing else.... And during most of Congress' time there was no collegium system. Also collegium system is illegal and unconstitutional, because it didn't come from the constitution or any act of parliament, it was just made up by the judges without any authority.

@anshuecon so senate stalled the appointment the president made, how is that a bad thing, this is what checks and balances are all about... Or do you want judges to be directly appointed by the President? 😂😂 This is the problem with people like you, you just can't stay on one argument, you keep changing the argument based on the situation in a way that favours your favourite political ideology. 💩💩
