What exactly did India achieve with coercive diplomacy in those 20 years, literally nothing. Only some effects are now visible after Surgical and Air strike.

@puppopuppo8223 that's exactly what I'm saying, coercive diplomacy only works with real coercion not build up. After Air strike cross boarder terrorism is at a all time low, but obviously indigenous terrorism won't end like that. While in the past during parliament attack what Shekhar is saying is like Pakistan came and slapped India then India gathered some people and went to threaten Pakistan but Pakistan just said a fake sorry and that it won't happen again and India should declare victory with that? That's the most stupid thing ever, and only because of that we had suffer terrorism for 15 more years.
