@Dan.50 We do not have "thousands" of bases. And we are not " carpet bombing 8 countries". Do your research before you speak. We couldn't man thousands of bases. Carpet bombing is impractical and creates mass casualties. The trend is toward precision bombing with only enough kinetic energy to get the job done without collateral damage. The only instance when you would use carpet bombing would be in areas that are out in the open where there is a high concentration of troops and armour. We are Not carpet bombing anywhere right now. No need to.
