  1. Poland is going to enjoy more economic growth than it has had for the last 30 years, and the last 30 years have seen monstrous growth. Things are looking rosy because of the Ukrainian tragedy. The EU (Germany and France) will be assisting in further military infrastructure growth, military bases will be cropping up like mushrooms after a rain, and many French, German, English and American service men, will be spending their hard earned Euros and $ in Poland. I mean we know what military bases do for local economies here is the U.S. which is why Senators and Congressmen fight tooth and nail over military bases in their districts. And Putin just gifted Poland with a giant bag of money. Add to this the Ukrainian refugees, who are now in Poland and will never go back because apparently traveling from Ukraine into Poland "was like traveling 30 years into the future," per one Youtuber. Poland's Economy has just got a steroid shot that will make them stronger and wealthier for decades to come.

  3.  @CMDRSloma  Yup. France is a bad partner because of lack of diplomatic tact by our Presidents as well as their thirst for an Empire and a return of French dominance over Europe. Germany, was simply allied because it was occupied rather than a willing ally. They've made the best of a bad situation but it was not like they had a choice. It was either be allied with the U.S. or be permanently carved up into 4 countries by the English and the French, thirsty for vengeance in 1945. So self-preservation, nothing more. Poland and any other country however is not any different. Charles De Gaule - "No nation has friends only interests." Currently Poland's interests intersect with ours but 30 years from now things can change. Israel was our bestie for 70 years and now they're getting in bed with China.

  5.  @The59baas  I have not forgotten Kosciszko or Pulawski. I have also not forgotten that the same Szlachta destroyed the Rzeczpospolita due to their greed and selfishness and only started acting honorably, when they had no other options and had no place to call home.
