  1. I like the outside, but the inside , while good quality, is too jumbled, Renaissance, English baroque, French Louis XV & XVI - some 1890s, some I think a generation or two later. The wonderfully pompous billiards table and the massive, OTT andirons next to it are an acquired taste (one I share!). The lighting installed on the frames of the big paintings dates a lot of the pics to post WW2.
