Russia is largely unpopular in both the U.S. and Germany right now (with exceptions of course) and I think the Chinese are largely indifferent (they understand that Russia is their global ally against the U.S., but that there are no permanent friends or allies in geopolitics). P.S. I'm German-Chinese-American.

  48. I don't think it's simply pleading ignorance, they're saying that both sides are capable to shaping narratives to their own ends (the Russians may be far more guilty in this case, but it is not completely one-sided overall).
