@keab42 You have design constraints of infrastructure. Dry docks and piers are only so big. Ports only so deep. Bridge clearance in NYC is a major issue.

@henrysimpson9094 Your changing deck chairs on a sinking ship. Changing ships solves none of the Naval issues of Germany. They still are out numbered. Lack access to the Atlantic. Have codes that are compromised. Drain Germany of men and fuel for little return. And draw air attacks like flies. You could give them 3 Yamatos. They still don't win.

@mcduck5 Yep! Just did a quick search. The best the QE class would do is 23 to 24 knots. Bismarck and Tirpitz had a top speed of 30.
