  2.  @fabianmichaelgockner5988  Bismarck at the port of Brest just adds another target to RAF bomber Command. That is the prime reason to move the ships. A fleet blockade would face E boat a U boat attack daily. Not sure why Bismarck changes the Dash? The German navy lacks escorts and minesweepers. They would need more to cover Bismarck. It's more headache than adding firepower? And Tirpitz can go to Norway.

  5.  @fabianmichaelgockner5988  The invasion of North Africa? The ships would not try to challenge a combination RN/USN force. Again, Bismarck joining the other ships changes little. The RN and RAF still fail for lack of air superiority and intelligence on the movement.
