But Allah is supposed to be the same Abrahamic deity that Jews and Christians pray to. If you can't agree on how to share, I think Judaism, the oldest religion of the three, has dibs on him.

@rosaelinav8036 No need to differentiate between Biden and the United States, or Trump for that matter. It's all the same to us.

@ifumie3267 In COIN, air power is key, especially in a rugged country like Afghanistan. The Taliban's newly-inherited air force is practically unserviceable. China won't be able to make a difference unless they go Soviet on Afghanistan. And we all know how that would end.

If you want to provoke a hostage crisis, yes, by all means, starting bombing.

@FauziahAbdullah715 But the thing is, whose side is Allah on? The same old geezer is known as Yahweh and God to Jews and Christians respectively. I think you have a custody battle on your hands.
1
@FauziahAbdullah715 So, the Abrahamic deity known in chronological order as Yahweh, God and Allah, once in a while changes tack, abandons his faithful and starts looking for new followers? Then I've got really bad news for you. The Baha'i Faith is the latest upgrade. Consider yourselves obsoleted.
1
@FauziahAbdullah715 Ah, you're conceding that there's no logic to it. Medieval fairy tales, the lot of them.
1
@FauziahAbdullah715 Boring? I didn't know it was exciting to have an imaginary friend in the sky. Well, maybe to a child.

Bollocks, they have very limited capabilities. The Humvee, no matter how plentiful, is not the military equivalent of a multi-function kitchen tool.
1
Not really. If you suspect you're facing MANPADS, you fly higher, out of their reach. That's what the Soviets did, and their losses dropped dramatically, but at the cost of effectiveness. But nowadays, with precision-guided ordnance being the norm, effectiveness isn't greatly compromised either.

Enjoy your Schadenfreude. Except for that, there's nothing for the civilised world to be happy about. Afghanistan is now officially a shithole again.

@syed8680 You'll have to go and educate the Taliban about proper Abrahamic behaviour then. They think of Afghan Shia Muslims as infidels and kill them indiscriminately. I don't find that very respectful. Also, if we apply your logic further, the Baha'i faith cancels out Islam. After all, it's newest kid on the block.
1
@syed8680 Who's to say who's the last prophet? The Baha'is have them, too, and they're clearly later arrivals. They go on about universal peace, too. You really need to stress your unique selling points, if any.
1
@syed8680 I'm neither American nor a fellow Christian of Biden's, so you're barking up the wrong tree. Off you go, teach your fellow Muslims in Afghanistan to respect human rights.
1
@syed8680 "The West" is a very loose description. Please be more specific, because I don't know if I'm included. G7, NATO, EU or what? I assume you're Pakistani. Pakistan explicitly approved the ISAF mission to Afghanistan. And speaking of poking noses into other countries' business, Pakistan is a repeat offender. Pakistan has been a decisive enabler in the tragedy that is unfolding in Afghanistan.
1
@syed8680 It's Pakistan that played a double game with everyone. I suppose the USA and India drove you into the arms of Al Qaeda, too. Osama bin Laden hiding right under your noses -- sell that one to someone who buys malarkey.

Lamia HM But your lot invented Islam, didn't you, after Judaism and Christianity. I'm sure the latter two consider their religions ne plus ultra as well -- and everything that came after is heresy in their book, too. Instead of being jealous, you should be flattered that the Baha'is built upon Islam -- just like the Jews and Christians should be flattered about Muslims so readily borrowing from them.
1
Lamia HM That's open to interpretation. You're in essence no different from the rest. All four Abrahamic religions subscribe to the concept of a succession of prophets revealing more and more about God. The Baha'is are very explicit about it, even more so than you Muslims. So, in summary, you Abrahamics disagree amongst yourselves as to who's a prophet and who came last. To an outsider, it looks like yours is a tree that keeps producing more branches as it grows in height. One branch doesn't really differ from the next, yet they keep coming.
1
@syed8680 Practically all religions claim that competing religions are heresy. And there's a myriad of religions, big and small. What makes Islam's claims more credible than those of the others?
1
@syed8680 I've made it very clear to you that I'm not American. Moreover, I suggest you look for a video that deals with American civil rights and pose your question there.
