@discoinferno103 I suppose party politics entered the picture. Yoon Suk Yeol had ordered the arrest of his own party's leader, who considers the president a "great danger" and a "significant risk" to the people.

@1968poder Impeachment of a sitting president is similar the world over. Like in the USA, a two-thirds supermajority is required in South Korea. For the sake of democracy, let's hope Yoon Suk Yeol "succeeds" in getting impeached, because this isn't over yet.
