  3.  @antilarge7860  No, and neither does Napoleon sweeping the floor with all of Europe's armies at one time or another. Since your memories across the pond aren't all that great, it bears reminding that the French led the Allies to victory in WW1. If anything, the French were brave to a fault in WW1, something for which they paid the price in WW2. Hitler, himself a WW1 veteran, was greatly impressed with the French. His impression was reportedly restored after the WW2 Battle of Bir Hakeim, where the French held off a German-Italian force ten times their size. You're good at clichés -- history, not so much.
