@lilacer6841 The US is deemed a "flawed democracy", just like Brazil. On a national level, the EU dominates the list of the world's top democracies. As the sole supranational union in the world, there's no democratic comparison for the EU as a whole.

@larissamello374 Russian "*microchip"? The Russians can't even produce their own microprocessor designs, which are several generations behind Western ones. For production, they relied on a Taiwanese chip foundry, and Taiwan banned exports to Russia after Putin showed his true colours.

The only part of BRICS that works is China. The rest are relegated to Belt and Road Initiative "partners" (read: China's neo-colonies).

@botafogoa.f.6346 BRICS isn't exactly booming, apart from China. India is managing, but the rest are stagnating. But the point here is that BRICS is and remains a loose economic union.
