  1.  @old-gamer-01  Your reading comprehension leaves something to be desired. Australia never even tried to procure French nuclear subs. It seems like it went for AUKUS, and the US/UK nuclear subs were a cherry on top. Incidentally, I had a boss who in a previous role had delivered Swedish subs to Australia. We warned one another not to mention subs in any shape or form, or he would go on a bender, trying to self-medicate his PTSD.
