  1.  @Joshdyisdifh  Nope, the Spaniards have made it clear they won't use their veto against Scotland joining the EU. Besides, I see the EU -- willingly or unwillingly -- enabling the orderly break-up of old nation states that were once formed to fend off unwanted attentions from one another -- something that is not applicable any longer. Smaller countries tend to perform better, too. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing a Republic of Flanders and a Kingdom of Wallonia in my lifetime.

  2. It's always the last refuge of frustrated Leavers, isn't it, claiming that you're happy to see the back of Scotland. I hope you're equally happy to see the backs of Northern Ireland and Wales. I wouldn't be surprised if London punches the eject button, too.
