  2.  @JohnSmith-xb2ou  It seems she was in legal limbo since she couldn't legally take the migrants back to Libya, yet as the captain she was responsible for their well-being, which was purportedly at risk. She'll be let off on humanitarian grounds, possibly with a smallish fine. The whole affair amounts to nothing more than a publicity stunt by Salvini, who needs to placate his far-right supporters. That is not to say the NGO in question doesn't appreciate the publicity, too. In other words, a win-win for Salvini and Sea-Watch.
