Isn't that the role of the media? To say the unsaid? In my opinion, the media are rightfully pointing at the manner in which the withdrawal took place. A gradual withdrawal, backed up by air power, would've given the ANA a fighting chance. I bet that the ANA's regional commanders drew their conclusions from Trump's peace negotiations and conducted their very own, and the result is what we see now.
