@adinnaikhwani6255 That's just gross self-congratulatory dribble. Because of bad economic policy, Turkey's economy is heading for collapse. Ergo, Turkey is not a stabilizing force in the region, but a destabilizing one.

Don't flatter yourselves. Delivering a state-of-the-art missile system and revealing its secrets to a potential adversary speaks volumes. If anything, it's an act of desperation. China is slowly but surely increasing its market share in global arms sales and at Russia's expense in particular. While it still enjoys a technological edge over China, Russia can't be picky any longer about what to sell and to whom. Hence S-400 and Turkey.

@adinnaikhwani6255 No need to shout your head off. Because Turkey's economy is in a bad way. That is an undeniable fact. Anyone who's trading with Turkey is negatively impacted. Neighbours tend to trade more with one another than far-away trading partners.

@adinnaikhwani6255 Better get that CapsLock key fixed. How pathetic is that, blaming Turkey's self-made economic troubles on the US. Finding foreign scapegoats may bring Erdogan temporary political relief, but the real problems -- the economic ones -- remain. Being a bit of an international pariah these days, Russia will befriend anyone who'll respond to their overtures. I guess it was a mixture of opportunism and desperation that drove Turkey into Moscow's arms and vice versa. For all I care, you can marry Russia and have babies together. But it will be entertaining to watch the inevitable split-up. Let's not forget it's only a couple of years ago that you were at each other's throats.

Perhaps Turkey should try if it could partner with Russia in reviving the dead-but-unburied Su-57 programme after the Indians grew exasperated with it and bowed out.
