  1. It's a bit of an overstatement to say that von Rosen financed the Finnish Air Force. One swallow does not a summer make: Eric von Rosen gifted one plane. At the time, the Finns had a number of airplanes on order, but because of delivery problems, von Rosen's plane arrived first. Latvia, too, used swastikas on their warplanes. Tilted ones, too, like the Nazis.
