@kilikdudley For existential reasons alone, Russia can't risk a nuclear escalation. So nukes are of no help. Also, Russia isn't self-sufficient, not even relatively speaking. Their manufacturing capacity is and will remain woefully inadequate. Without access to Western technology and investment, renewed attempts at diversifying Russia's economy will come to naught.
