I'm sure it will be neatly deposited in the so-called Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility, as far away from any land as possible, joining hundreds of pieces of Russian, US and European space junk that have been safely deposited there earlier. One wonders when China will become house-broken.

The partly-German Ariane rocket can shed its earth-bound parts in a controlled manner. They're steered to Point Nemo in the South Pacific, the furthest point from land in the world. Glad to have cleared that up for you.

Actually, China did, too. Last year, a Chinese rocket segment plunged into the Atlantic Ocean.
