@BigDsGaming2022 That's swell, but the point here is that the US Armed Forces retired the F-4 in 1996, while in Luftwaffe service, it soldiered on despite its advanced age till 2013.

@lhk7006 You don't understand. If Ukraine cuts the supply lines to Crimea, or even reduces their capacity to a significant extent, Crimea will 'wither on the vine'. Russia had better start pulling out its Russians settlers then.

@BigDsGaming2022 That doesn't appear to be case with the Luftwaffe's F-4s. Germany was a relatively early adopter of the type. The F-15 and F-16 are (still) irrelevant in a German context.

Letting Ukraine lose is not option. Support will continue to flow, even increase, in the event of Ukraine suffering a setback in liberating its occupied territories. I suggest you take your wet dreams elsewhere.

@BigDsGaming2022 Germany operates older types of aircraft, too, like the Panavia Tornado, a nearly 50-year old type. The 1950s-vintage F-4 Phantom saw extensive German use as well, for over 40 years.

@paulsmith1981 We'll have to see about Crimea's ethnic make-up and the identities that go with it in some distant future, when sovereignty has been restored and the matter of independence can be settled at the UN. A bumbling Putin condemned his Crimean "compatriots" to decades of international isolation, similar to that of Northern Cyprus. Well, truth be told, to him it never was about the Crimeans.
