@fergusdenoon1255 What nonsense. NATO doesn't own all the military kit in, for example, Germany. Very, very little of it is in shared ownership, in fact. Germany neglected its defence, and it's not NATO that's to blame.

@robharris8844U Weren't France and Germany clever when they put their weight behind NATO? And it was cleverer still that in doing so, they gained extra protection against Russian aggression. But wait, didn't the UK do the same? It's a pity that the UK is relegated to bit player in really putting the fear of God into Putin. In case you haven't noticed, it's more economic warfare than anything else and the EU is in a league of its own. Even the Yanks are jealous.

@robharris8844U Trust you not to get the economic warfare bit. Then again, you've never understood that Brexit isn't a matter between equals. Cute emoticons. Not childish at all.

@robharris8844U Oh dear. You must really think that the Light Brigade is charging the Russian guns in Ukraine. It's economic warfare. Sanctions. The bigger you are economically, the harder they bite. That is, ours bite, yours nibble. What a dolt you are.

Alas, also science fiction.

Soonmush You'd do well to tone down your arrogance. Finland just sent old stock light anti-tank weapons to Ukraine that are of the same vintage as the ex-GDR Strelas. Likewise, they're still usable and help save the good stuff for more demanding targets.

I believe the nominal form of the adjective "Muscovite" is "Muscovy." Please don't make it sound like only weirdos support Ukraine, because everyone does.

@chriswaters3442 The Ukrainian Ground Forces had the Strela-2M in use already. I expect some Mi-17s have fallen prey to it already.

@s.a.3894 Bad example. Turkey didn't get the F-35 on account of the S-400 purchase. But pretty much the whole of NATO buys Israeli military kit, for instance.
