Counter-productive, I'd say. Erdogan reinforced the widely felt impression that Turkey is a capricious and unreliable partner.

@skp8748 You'll have to elaborate on what you're on about. I know about Turkey not getting permission to hack the Patriot, the coup attempt, and shooting down a Russian jet, but it's not clear to me how they relate to NATO and the EU. If Turkey doesn't like the face of NATO, it should leave. Likewise, if Turkey doesn't like the looks of the EU, it should stop pursuing EU membership (read: try to worm its way in using unsavoury methods).

@soreeyez You can give up defending Turkey. Your beloved Russia thinks Turkey has turned into an 'unfriendly country'. As a Krembot you should keep on top of these things.
