Come what may, there won't be a shortage of Putin trolls on YouTube. Russia already has outsourced troll factories in India. So don't ask them about the weather in Saint Petersburg, because it's Bangalore.

After losing Kherson and being driven back across the Dnieper, it's even less likely than before that Russia will capture Odesa.

Well, Putin is motivating neighbouring countries to join the EU, just like he's pushing them to join NATO as well. He's being very selfless, too, because while actively recruiting new members for the two, Putin has neglected his own anti-EU and anti-NATO, the Eurasian Economic Union and the CSTO respectively. So much so, in fact, that one wonders if the CSTO still exists after it ignored Armenia's pleas for military support when Azerbaijan invaded it.

@1xRekt Bad example. You do enjoy visa-free travel privileges with these countries. Myself, I get to enjoy said privileges with no less than 174 countries, but alas, they're not colonies of ours. Unlike you, we missed out on having colonies when it was still in vogue.

I like your thinking. Mongolia rates as a flawed democracy, which is two notches above Russia's and China's classification (i.e. the lowest of the low, meaning authoritarian) according to the Democracy Index. So it's a workable proposition, since NATO insists on majority support for membership. By the way, NATO doesn't invite new members. They apply of their own volition.

@JayWill-o4y It's your intellect that's failing you.

@christianevanherck6023 The Nigerians will pass. Perhaps one in a hundred thousand falls for their money scams, but it's still a better hit rate than that of our sad trolls.

@JayWill-o4y So, if Andorra declares war on the USA tomorrow, and hasn't been beaten the day after tomorrow (because the letter is still in the mail), it's unbeatable?

@antekasic2732 You're like a child with a hammer. It's always hypersonic missiles, nuclear weapons or a combination of the two. As if that's going assure complete victory for Russia. Complete victory is going to come, but only after Russia's economic collapse. We've seen it all before, when the Soviet Union collapsed. I don't have a crystal ball, but the EU and NATO are going to see a lot of new applicants, as Muscovy tries to reassert control over former Russia's break-away republics.

@AbuBawa-sw1ut There's nothing to corroborate your claims and deep down you know it, too. The Russian economy is in extreme survival mode, hemorrhaging money left, right and centre. Russia is desperately feeding the IMF with flawed data, but what do you think, will cooked books avert disaster? Reality won't bend to comply with imaginary stats. Russia stands isolated, as evidenced by the series of UNGA votes about the Ukraine conflict. Are the likes of Eritrea and Mali going to bail Russia out? Or flood Russia with military aid?

@enriquelaroche5370 You've got it backwards. You should ask yourself if Moscow and Saint Petersburg need to be sacrificed on account of a mad dictator's abortive imperial dreams.

Did you think war is a profitable business per se?

Whataboutism fixes everything in Russia. Wait..
