Just for the sake of argument, which country do you think I'm from? You seem awfully sure about yourself, but all the same you're mentioning Britain, Portugal and Spain. I'm confused. You didn't really get the bit about the association fallacy either. I'm afraid I'm starting to question your intelligence.

  3.  @claudiopereira9900  No, I don't think it's an accepted legal principle that the accused goes free because unrelated similar acts probably have been committed by others in the past. Also, guilt by geographical association ("the West") doesn't really fly in court either. Whataboutism amounts to trying to nip discussion in the bud by raising similar, but ultimately irrelevant accusations. Not only that, I find it self-defeating. It's like you're admitting that Russia sucks, but in its defence, Murica sucks as well.

EU members make up the bulk of NATO, and there are voices arising that the six out 27 -- Austria, Cyprus, Finland, Ireland, Malta and Sweden -- that still remain outside of the military alliance, collectively join NATO. NATO knows no better recruiter than Putin.

  16. Good observation, but they should reimburse Putin for all the market-making he's done for them. I mean, keeping 190,000 soldiers on Ukraine's borders doesn't come cheap, not to mention funding the insurrection in Donbas. Then there's Crimea, which, too, has been a very costly affair for Russia.
