@kgjekdl Nord Stream 1 and 2 were both unused, and would have remained so till they rusted through. There were some pity points in it for Russia. Russia sure likes to revel in victimhood.

@kgjekdl No, no one in their right mind is going to put their faith in Russian gas any longer. Besides, we were already starting to wean ourselves off hydrocarbons, weren't we, before Putin declared his energy war. Thanks to Putin, the green shift got a firm kick in the pants. Come to think of it, Putin can console himself in prison that he saved the planet from climate apocalypse.
