  2. +Dionicio Baca The Catholic Church is equally to blame. Luther wanted reform, not a split. The Catholics could've engaged in dialog, but instead declared him a heretic. Luther wasn't alone in wanting reform, but the Catholic Church couldn't deliver.

  3. +Dionicia Baca Didn't you get to keep your 15 centuries? The crux of the matter is that Luther found a huge following. Many readily converted, suggesting something was wrong with the Catholic Church. Anyhow, Protestantism is a better fit with us Northerners. Equality, frugality and strong ethics. One shouldn't generalise, but there's a clear correlation between Protestantism and progress. Just out of interest, do you also vilify the Orthodox Church?
