  1.  @CDang-ms6dc  You're an anachronism. Russia doesn't get to carve out a sphere of influence any more than the USA does. You seem to think the great powers get to run roughshod over sovereign countries, like Ukraine, when they feel their interests are jeopardised.

  3.  @Pqj613  It means they disagree with their mobilisation, not with the war in general, as you claim. It's the same with the mothers and spouses of those Russian reservists who do end up in Ukraine. They're indignant about the poor training, missing and shoddy equipment, reckless tactics and whatnot. They should be protesting against the war on moral grounds.

  5.  @Pqj613  I've done better than that, I've joined many a protest. The last one was in Hong Kong, the epic two-million pro-democracy rally. You? About me being a keyboard warrior, I put in two years of overseas military service, in Lebanon and Kosovo. Some of us died over there. I was pallbearer for a fallen fellow soldier. You?
