  3.  @codered4422  I bet my European democracy is higher-ranked than yours in the Democracy Index. We've got next to no Islamists. We've got a bigger problem with bible-bangers and their fundamentalist views, which they'd enforce on us given half the chance.

  5. Which is it that you're guilty of, ignorance or silly hyperbole? Germany has supplied weapons to Ukraine that easily match British ones. The PzH-2000 is state of the art, the Gepard has proven priceless in downing drones, the IRIS-T is a formidable weapon system and the MARS II is right up there with the HIMARS. Sure, Germany could do more, but so could the UK. Generally speaking, German weapon systems are better regarded than the UK's. It's indicative that the UK had to rely on the Germans for the Challenger 3 MBT.
