@angry1109 Your hero Putin can always withdraw his troops from Ukraine.

@vivekbond007 What about them Iranian and Nork missiles and drones? If Russia can make its own kit, why did it go begging for stand-off weapons from these two pariahs? I wonder if Russia came begging to you for the BrahMos, too.

Xi has already put the bear in a cage. Xi doesn't like them nukes being used in a minor scuffle that doesn't bring any advantage to China.

@samanthaw4955 We should ask the UN's General Assembly what it thinks. Oh, we have already. Can you remind us how it played out?
1
@OnFeature Woah, you managed a self-contradictory sentence there. Sloppy. As a sovereign nation, Ukraine has the right to strike alliances as it sees fit. Moreover, Russia breached the UN Charter with its forceful annexations of Ukrainian territory, so your "peace plan" is a non-starter.
1
@OnFeature Who did I kill during my overseas deployments? I like to think we saved civilians in Lebanon and Kosovo. So, I've seen war and so have my parents and their parents. That's why we're so angry with Putin for starting yet another one. NATO expands by popular demand, Russia by force. And for your info, NATO's area of responsibility is restricted to Europe, North America, Turkey, and islands in the North Atlantic north of the Tropic of Cancer. Don't make stuff up.
1
@OnFeature NATO never made such an agreement. Care to elaborate what you're on about? At the risk of repeating myself, sovereign nations can strike alliances as they see fit. In NATO's case, it's always by popular consent, too. Finland and Sweden are cases in point. In both countries, a comfortable supermajority voted in favour of NATO membership. Under international law, Russia's self-defined sphere of influence holds no weight whatsoever. Speaking of international law, the UNGA very clearly ruled against Russia in the Ukraine war. For better or worse, the UNGA is international law.
1
@OnFeature You're supposed to name the treaty or agreement that was signed to that effect. I'm (still) waiting.
1
@OnFeature I know all about it, and nothing corroborates your claim. Name the "treaty" already.
1
@josephshields2922 What are going to do with your evidence? Point at precedents like the Soviet involvement in the Korean War and the Vietnam War? Russian "advisors" routinely piloted North Korean and Vietnamese fighter aircraft, for instance.
1
Sigh. Where to start. What was WW2 about then? Did it start on the dark side of the moon?
1
You think Russia will brutally invade Ukraine in reprisal? Wait...
1
@VodeniZeka But you don't know where to aim. The Israelis have put the Syrian and Iranian air defences to shame with their F-35s. Guess who made said air defence systems?
1
@VodeniZeka Oh, I've been to Belgrade, many times over. While there, I did bomb damage assessment of my own, just for kicks. Not a pretty picture, but Milošević brought it upon yourselves. It's too bad you can't explain to your BFFs back east how you got the F-117, or they'd surely had made kit that stands a chance against the F-35. I guess your blinds prevent you from realising how thoroughly Russia's defence industry was humiliated by Israel over Syria and Iran. For your sake, I hope you shop for those fancy radars somewhere else than in Russia.
1
@VodeniZeka You're letting your imagination get the better of you. Israel took out three Iranian S-300 batteries, leaving the country without primary air defences. That, if you can't figure it out for yourself, is the point.
1
@VodeniZeka Aw, now you're resorting to ad hominems. It's a tacit admission that you've lost the argument. All Israeli F-35s landed safely at their airbases -- in addition to all the other Israeli aircraft involved in the strike, 100 in all. You're straying from the topic -- that the F-35 is demonstrably impervious to Russian-made surface-to air-missiles. So now you'd like to move the goal posts. What a sad debater you are.
1
@VodeniZeka No, why? Do you instantly forget what you've posted? Short-term memory loss?
1
Only yesterday, Daddy Xi made it clear to Putin-boy that nukes are a no-no.
1
The Storm Shadow leverages terrain contour matching to find its way to the target. No biggie.
1
Your beloved Joker has done same or worse from day one.
1
@Ben-f6u6l Putin engineered his own downfall on Feb 27, 2022. He's living on borrowed time. Soon, even the ever-so-apathetic Russians will realise this is not their war, but Putin's folly.
1
Putin could totally wrong-foot NATO by... withdrawing from Ukraine. Why on earth hasn't the 4D chessmaster thought of that?
