@simplicius11 *Oops? Or did you mean United Parcel Service or uninterruptible power source? That's a different kettle of fish. Other Russian-owned assets can be frozen, but whether or not they can be seized is highly questionable, since they're not verifiably state-owned.

@southpole4776 If an international tribunal decides that Russia must pay reparations to Ukraine and if it refuses to do so, it's perfectly legal to seize Russia's assets and make them available to Ukraine.

@simplicius11 Oh, we've found €300 billion of the Central Bank of Russia's assets alone. To put it in terms you may understand, those bills are firmly locked inside a giant freezer of ours.

Short-term better, long-term far worse.

So, in summary, if you don't like Russia, Russia feels compelled to invade you. That being the case, Russia really has its work cut out for it, having to invade three quarters of the world's countries. And they can't even get started, with Ukraine proving too hard a nut to crack.

@sparkyfromel Feel free to elaborate. No need to scurry off to your troll cave at the first sign of trouble.

@sparkyfromel Why always blame the US for NATO expansion? I don't know if you can get your head around it, but could it be that the likes of Poland and the Baltic states, mindful of Russia's true nature, felt compelled to join NATO, although the US couldn't decide whether it was a good thing or a bad thing? As to NATO nearing St. Petersburg, could it be that also there Russia brought it onto itself that fiercely independent Sweden and Finland opted to join? I spend six months a year in Sweden, speak the language and understand perfectly why the US wisely kept mum till Sweden had made up its mind. The same goes for Finland, where superpowers are traditionally frowned upon.

@sparkyfromel I bet you were the type that subjected to bullying in school and thought giving the bullies your lunch money was a sound investment.

@sparkyfromel You're too delicate for YouTube comment sections.

Remember to tell Putin to cease and desist. That's the only formula for instant peace.
