No need to remind us. He's making Putin laughable on a daily basis.

The EU is a supranational union, truly one of a kind. You haven't seen anything like it; you have no reference point.

If you were to send in a cheque, it would bounce <cough>Evergrande<cough>.

@760HorsePower The S-400 has struggled to intercept even HIMARS rockets, whereas its supposedly inferior US counterpart, the Patriot, has demonstrably knocked down Russia's much-vaunted hypersonic Kinzhals. Missiles and drones are the future, and the S-400 struggles with both.

With what weapons? Your Russian turret-tossing tanks? Your rickety Soviet-era aircraft? In case you don't know it, you've lost your top arms supplier in Russia. You'll have to go hat in hand to France and the US for more.

@760HorsePower Israeli F-35 pilots have gone sight-seeing above Damascus, and this despite the country brimming with S-300s and S-400s. The Syrians are livid. The S-500 is still work in progress.

@akwan4376 Weapons age and ammunition has a limited shelf-live. We'd dispose of them if they weren't put to use -- good use in Ukraine's case. Besides, if weapons were self-aware, they'd rejoice at finally fulfilling their destiny: blowing Orcs to kingdom come.

Thanks, Captain Obvious, for stating the obvious. Ukraine is a country in existential peril. Same as the Soviet Union, which, by Stalin's own admission, would've lost the war without Lend-Lease.

Everyone needs more unity. Asia above all.

Aren't you even a little bit concerned about the many more Russian war dead? And the even more numerous Russians who've fled mobilisation, probably never to return and forever depriving Russia of their brainpower? Since you're so empathic, you should spare the poor Russians some thought as well.

@gsalad2525 Buying off an extortioner is not exactly a recipe for success.

@760HorsePower You do waste a S-400 missile on whatever is about to destroy a critical ammunition dump or some such -- or the S-400 itself. When the ATACMS starts to make its presence felt, this will be doubly true, only the ATACMS is harder still to intercept. While a quasi-ballistic missile like the ATACMS is perhaps better intercepted with a Pantsir, even the latter will struggle with it, and limited range is another issue plaguing the Pantsir. Game-changing weapons change the game, they don't end it. It's only natural that Russia takes counter-measures, like pulling its most valuable naval assets away from Crimea, after Ukraine started sending Storm Shadows their way. Bit by bit, GAME OVER becomes stark reality for Russia.

@KonsaiAsTai History shows that war-mongering dictators don't stop unless they're made to stop.
