  2.  @markaxworthy2508  St. Patrick didn't invent the Irish. The role of Christianity in 'civilising' a people is overrated. We abandoned our pagan beliefs half a millennium after the Irish, but it hasn't hurt us none. It's also interesting that our would-be St. Patrick, Bishop Henry, literally got the axe after stealing food. At least he left the snakes in peace.
