  1. It's going to be hard on the homeowners. Many won't be able to recuperate their money (Spain had a real estate bubble), so they can't afford anything decent back in the UK. Also, a lot of property coming onto the market is going to depress prices even further. They're screwed, in other words.

  2. +Dan Lough It's more like the British expats are losers. They've seen their pensions effectively cut and they're stuck with property they can't unload.

  5. +ilove wires I get that, but for a Unionist it must be tough to apply for a Irish passport. I lost my dual nationality when I went soldiering. They wouldn't return it unless I married a Dutchwoman. Anyhow, two EU nationalities don't make much sense.
