  1.  @kenw5104  Cameron is not well-remembered in the EU. The best we can hope for is that he offers sage advice to Sunak's umpteenth successor on how not to proceed with the EU.

  3. Cameron could've easily found allies in reforming the EU, but he gave them the cold shoulder. To say he squandered all remaining goodwill within the EU is an understatement. The consensus among the EU-27 was that Cameron was out for more unique privileges, not reform. No wonder that in the subsequent Brexit negotiations, the UK faced a unified front that didn't falter once. Hubris before the fall.
