@Venus03 what value did cocoa have compared to say Cauliflower? And palm oil, I don't even know, except that it's a large commodity *now*, especially in East Asia. But he did talk about the resources, he gave numbers too. Said that they made up less than 2% of total trade during colonialism.

@lif3andthings763 your dates would clash with the satellite nations revolving around Egypt. Bantu migration came much, much later. And any remnant of city states was borrowed heavily from Nubia areas, their neighbours, and successors.

@Venus03 what resources? Besides gold (which is nothing compared to South America), most resources were discovered in the 60's, when colonialism was ending.

@lif3andthings763 western Europe was already rich. Did you even watch the video, dunce? Might also want to check what happened to the colonial empires. Remember Venice, or Florence? And how they literally started with the idea of banking... This particular comment section seems to be a magnet for dummies.

@sryan9547 yes, realistic ones like you mentioned. UK vs Europe is far fetched fantasy. Again, go check out Binkov - seriously, that's what his whole channel is about: pitting militaries against eachother eg. France vs UK, or Turkey vs Greece. Have you seen his channel before?
