  2. These are the kinds of reasonable questions that make men doubt their religuous upbringing, and make the religious cower and scream with fury (as you can tell). It never made much sense, because none of it is true. It's a comfort shield, a mechanism for creating community, and an excuse to control the lives of other people (particularly the most intimate aspects) --- and that's about it.
