You willingly admit that China may be conservative with their estimates, so claiming with certainty that the United States has the most infections of any nation in the world is absolutely impossible. Oh and in case you didn't know: besides having the 3rd largest population in the world, the United States has a CONSTITUTION that prohibits many of the extreme measures that other nations have implemented to curb the spread of the disease. Just a little fun fact for you there, I suggest you go familiarize yourself with it if you've got the time.

Name me one other country that guarantees religious liberty, right to protest/peaceably assemble, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, right to own a gun, and even an implied right to freedom of movement. Go ahead, I'll wait.

  8.  @jonseilim4321  The Constitution doesn't just disappear in the event of a pandemic such as this one. It's designed to protect against government overreach, as we cannot be certain that even temporary violations of these rights will be withdrawn when it ends.

  9. @Eric Swartzmiller I don't believe the "Lord" (I usually refer to Him as Jehovah) responds to the vast majority of His followers, so seeking out the truth from Him in this life is futile. But that's just my opinion, if it gives you hope (which I can certainly understand), then more power to you.

  11.  @maximilienrobespierre7595  You bet you're ass I do. Guns are a necessity for self-defense and protection for you and your family against aggressors like robbers or other criminals. In addition to that, they're an assurance that the government won't overstep its power as We the People have the means to abolish it, as this Founding Fathers themselves have written.

And sure Snowden leaked some disturbing stuff, but guess what... it's all electronic. You don't use a cell phone or a computer, and you don't have to worry about being spied on. Not saying the spying is right, but my point is it's limited in scope.
