Democrats don't want to fix racial issues. They want to exploit them for their own malicious purposes. If they truly "rid" the country of racism (as Obama promised they were going to do, and Biden does now), they will not be able to leverage their "racism" claim against Republicans. Nor would they be able to hold weak-minded people hostage by instilling a victimhood mentality and perpetually promising to help them. It's an essential part of their platform. They've always viewed minorities as inferior, back in the days of Andrew Jackson all the way until today.
